For those of you missing the snow.......The blizzards only just begun, but here is my front door after shovelling the walk four times today. I need to go knit something!

After the blizzard.....

LeMieux, our semi-feral cat, returns home after the blizzard. Taking a nap in the sunshine after a tasty meal.

My daughter calls this the Christmas Miracle Hat...

....because I made most of it during the Christmas Eve Broncos vs Bengals game... and it is a miracle the Broncos won (at least without going into overtime)!
Actually, it is an ear flap hat using the DIY pattern and some leftover yarn in my stash. I used a strand of a red varigated wool blend and a strand of black. I made it on size 8 needles instead of the size 10 called for and it fits my head. It would work slightly bigger, so the next one I may do on a 9 and see how that goes. I am suspecting that these earflap hats are the upcoming trend, so I figured I had better get with the program!

Testing out the new blanket

Still working on the border for the MD Moderne afghan, but Bellaroo (our Chihuahua/Minature Pinscher mix) just can't wait! She's taking a trial nap in it while Grandma knits away.

Christmas set

Hat and bootie set made as a gift for a friend's new granddaughter. I used red Simply Soft and some fluffy white yarn leftover from making chemo caps last year.

Max and Henry

Max the cat and Henry the dog taking a nap together.
